Warranty - Anne Sportun designs

Our hand-made jewellery is made in our Toronto studio with care, using the finest materials and inspected for quality assurance. We offer a lifetime warranty against all manufacturing defects and craftsmanship related deficiencies. Our warranty does not cover damage due to normal wear such as the wearing of metal, stone damage or breakage due to wear, neglect or accidental damage or loss, etc. Have your jewellery inspected annually to prevent stone loss, as with regular wear, settings can become loose over time. Please note that alterations made by a goldsmith other than an Anne Sportun approved goldsmith will void the warranty.

Warranty & Repairs - Featured designers

Anne Sportun sells items from other designers in a myriad of different price points and materials. Each designer has their own process for warranty and repair. Should an issue arise, We will help guide you through the process for your piece.

Fine jewellery items
can be repaired, sometimes in house, and sometimes by the designer themselves. Most repairs are required due to wear and tear and are at the cost of the customer unless they are due to a manufacturer defect. Manufacturer defect would be a structural or Gold Porosity issue and are uncommon. They usually reveal themselves within the first month of wear and are easily perceived by our goldsmiths upon inspection.

Gold Plated Costume / Fashion jewellery items
are generally not repairable as the materials are not designed to be worn and fixed. Wear and tear on these pieces means they have a life span after which they are not fixable.

Silver pieces may be repairable. They commonly have stretches and breaks with wear and tear due to the soft / pliable properties of silver. It is also prone to tarnishing.

We do not offer repair services for other designers / jewelers work that we did not sell to the customer.
